Buffalo report release soon

27 Oct 2018 Border Mail, Albury-Wodonga (General News) by Ellen Ebsary THE Pricewaterhouse Coopers report on tourism opportunities at Mount Buffalo will be released next month. The firm was commissioned by Alpine Council in April to look at proposals in the Vision for Mount Buffalo from February 2017, produced by a government-appointed advisory group. Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism Danielle Green announced $200,000 for a feasibility study to expand on the vision in December, and told The Border Mail the PwC report would be tabled at councils November meeting. Despite what the document may outline, Northern Victoria MP Jaclyn Symes has indicated further funding announcements are unlikely before the state election. We need to wait for that, but I think it will be in a good position next year . regardless of who is in (government), we have a budget in May, she said. I know the process is delayed from a community perspective. To get a business case so that it has a sustainable future is really important.
