A decision on the route for the new Yarrawonga Mulwala bridge represents an important step forward for the Yarrawonga community according to Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes. I am pleased that Yarrawonga residents finally have certainty, Ms Symes told the Yarrawonga Chronicle. The announcement of a new bridge brings about an opportunity to create a real community asset that will be welcomed by motorists and enjoyed by cyclists, pedestrians and fishers. I would also be keen to work with council, locals and tourism operators on possible upgrades for the foreshore amenity.
