Funding boost for Kilmore and Seymour hospitals
KILMORE and District Hospital and Seymour Health will share in increased funding with the state government investment ol 115.51 million at Kilmore and District Hospital and $13.98 million at Seymour Health.
The funding is part of the 2018,19 budget allocations for all Victorian hospitals, a record $11.5 billion investment It means hospitals are set lo share in 10 per cent more funding than the previous 12 months.
Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes welcomed the funding saying the funding will ensure Kilmore Hospital and Seymour Health and other hospitals can treat more patients.

Were helping them by opening more beds to reduce patient waiting times for surgery and emergency care, Ms Symes said.
The funding will open more beds, offer better specialist care and give families even greater access to a wide range of services.
