Three local wine growers will benefit from funding aimed at increasing exports into overseas markets, boosting wine tourism and growing wine businesses. McPherson Wines ($7500), Ministry of Chocolate ($25 000) and Tahbilk Winery and Vineyard ($25 000) are beneficiaries of the funding, which will be sourced from the $1 million Wine Growth Fund (WGF). Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said she was pleased to have secured the funding for some of the regions wine growers. Our region produces premium wine that is the envy of the nation thats why Labor is supporting the local industry to ensure the world continues to demand our products, Ms Symes said. These projects will increase tourism to the regions unique wineries and boost the local economy. The Wine Growth Fund aims to grow the industry by providing innovative growers, organisations and projects with funding to expand locally and internationally. The fund supports grants of up to $20 000 for individual organisations and $50 000 for collaborative projects. Licensed by Copyright Agency. You may only copy or communicate this work with a licence
