19 Sep 2018 Wangaratta Chronicle, Wangaratta VIC (General News) THE State Government has this week officially opened a $2 million Artisanal Sector Grants program and launched Victorias first Artisanal Sector Roadmap setting a vision for innovation and collaboration. Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) said the first stage of the program offers grants up to $5000 per applicant to address the immediate needs of producers and food businesses. Stage two of the grants program will support larger scale projects and will be launched in early 2019. A web portal has also been created to help producers access information about government services and support available to the sector visit agriculture.vic.gov.au/artisanag.
