More resources for Broadford

03 May 2017 Seymour Telegraph, Seymour VIC (General News) A new paramedic team and ambulance vehicle for Broadford has been fast-tracked by the Victorian Government. Labor Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said Broadford now has a new peakperiod ambulance service staffed by a team equivalent to seven extra full-time paramedics, which will become Broadfords first permanent paramedic resource. The new ambulance vehicle will be based at the new Broadford branch once the facility is finalised, but in the meantime, Wallan branch will benefit from it. Broadford families can have peace of mind that paramedics are now responding even faster to medical emergencies, Ms Symes said. The extra resources in Broadford will make a huge difference to paramedics, allowing them to do what they do best, which is saving lives.
