6 Aug 2016 Gannawarra Times, Gannawarra (General News) TWO district sports shooting clubs will benefit from Victorian Government funding. Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes has announced that Cohuna Clay Target Club has been allocated $25,000 to assist with the purchase of land from Gannawarra Shire Council. Kerang Clay Target Club will receive $9500 for storage facilities. Ms Symes said many of the clubs funded under Shooting Sports Facilities Program would be upgrading their facilities to meet current occupation health and safety requirements, provide upgraded disability access facilities as well as new toilets and clubroom facilities. We want our sports clubs to offer safe, modern facilities for the countless Northern Victoria locals who use them every week and these grants will help them deliver that, she said.
