WALLAN THE $5 million upgrade to Wallan Secondary College is under way. The modernisation will expand the schools food technology facilities, convert a courtyard into a cafe and give senior students a new building featuring quiet learning areas, a seminar room and a lecture theatre. The college opened in 2006 with 110 students and has grown to more than 620. Enrolments at schools like Wallan Secondary College are growing and we need to invest in new facilities so students can thrive and learn new skills, Education Minister James Merlino said.
