JACLYN Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) has announced almost $7 million in State Government funding for the redevelopment of Seymour College. Ms Symes joined students at Seymour College to examine the plans for the $6.88 million redevelopment, saying Education Minister James Merlino had approved the cash as part of the governments $2.5 billion investment in school infrastructure across the state. The project includes a new building for the schools middle and senior students and an extension for food technology. Labor promised we would properly plan and rebuild Seymour College and that is what we are doing, Ms Symes said. These new facilities will provide a big boost to students at Seymour College with great new spaces to enrich their learning experience in and outside the classroom. It is part of our Governments plan to make sure every student has access to the latest facilities and modern teaching to give them a great start in life and I am proud to be delivering for the Seymour community.Licensed by Copyright Agency.
