Upgrades to Barrabill House

17 Jul 2018 Whittlesea Review, Whittlesea (General News) SEYMOUR Healths aged care facility, Barrabill House, will undergo a major transformation thanks to the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund. Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes, announced 13.1 million funding for the project, which will give residents the safe and comfortable home they deserve. The Barrabill House project will create six new additional beds within a new 14-bed wing complete with single bedrooms and ensuites. New common and social areas and improved staff facilities are also par ihe upgrade. The project will create nine construction jobs and be complete in 2020. Barrabill House does a great job caring for Seymours older residents and Labor is upgrading yt, to give residents the safe, modern and comfortable home that they deserve. Ms Symes said Barrabill house becomes the home for many older Seymour locals and this investment delivers modern facilities that will enhance residents wellness, comfort and privacy.
