Labor is investing in public libraries across the state and so families in Northern Victoria can enjoy more free spaces close to home.
The Allan Labor Government has opened a new grant round for the Living Libraries Infrastructure Program.
Libraries give Victorians free access to the tools and spaces they need to study, work, learn and stay connected.
Councils, representing residents in the region of Northern Victoria, have the opportunity to apply for grants ranging from $10,000 to $1 million for projects of all sizes.
Funding is available to support refurbishments, expanded children’s areas, technology hubs, meeting pods and accessibility upgrades.
Applications are now open and close on 17 July.
