Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes joined Council and community members to officially open the new Hub at JJ Clancy Reserve, made possible by a $3,400,000 investment from the Labor Government’s Growing Suburbs Fund.

The new hub delivers community and social space, changing facilities and storage, a new play space, landscape works an upgrade to car parking and relocation of Little Athletics field event facilities.

JJ Clancy is home to more than 900 players and supporters from Kilmore Football Netball Club, Kilmore Junior Football Club, Kilmore Tennis Club, Kilmore Netball Club, U3A Kilmore and Kilmore & District Little Athletics.

The completed project reflects local needs and provides a place to help strengthen community connections with space for social gatherings and events, while encouraging greater recreation activities for Kilmore residents.
